Should individual provisions of this agreement be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions of the contract is not affected. The ineffective provision should be replaced by an effective provision accordingly as close as possible to the economically and legally intended meaning and purpose of the ineffective provision in the context of the general contract. The same applies to an unintentional omission.
